Bio
Manoshi Samaraweera joined our doctoral program in Marketing crossing the borders to USA all the way from Sri Lanka. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) from the University of Peradeniya majoring in Agricultural Economics and Business Management. The findings of the research study she pursued as an undergraduate on the vegetable supply chains of supermarkets in Sri Lanka was presented in a forum of academics and policy makers at the South Asia Regional Conference held in Hyderabad, India 2005. Following graduation, Manoshi worked as lecturer at the University of Peradeniya before she decided to join the PhD program at the University of Houston because “she likes marketing and she wants to know more about it”!
