Bio

Assistant Professor of Marketing, Ph.D. in Psychology from Arizona State University, and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California.

Research Interests

  • My current research focuses on: understanding motivations for conspicuous consumption, consumers’ emotional responses in status consumption contexts including envy and schadenfreude and the effects of those emotional responses on brand attitudes, the effects of self-brand connections on consumption emotions and responses to product failures, and social influence processes.
