Frank Kelley

Bio
Frank Kelley serves as the associate dean for Undergraduate Studies in the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. He has been with the University of Houston since 1987 and the Bauer College since 1992. His office oversees advising and administrative affairs for over 4,500 undergraduate business majors and minors. Prior to working in the Bauer College, he taught college English for ten years. He also served one year as Chief Operating Officer for a translation company headquartered in Houston with an office in Azerbaijan. He has a Master of Theology degree, a Master of Arts in English literature and Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, and post-graduate work at the University of Houston in rhetoric and composition. He has traveled extensively, primarily in Asia. He has received the Melcher Faculty Excellence Award, Magner Award, UH Staff Excellence Award, CBA Outstanding Staff Member Award, the Dean's Excellence Award, and the Outstanding Staff Award. Most recently he has served on the university’s QEP Planning Committee, 2007 Orientation Task Force, 2007 Provost’s ad hoc Committee on Advising, 2007 chair of the Advising Coordinators Team, 2007-current Degree Audit Work Group, 2007-current and USD Task Force, 2008.
