Arthur Francia

Bio

Arthur Francia is the KPMG Professor in Accountancy and Taxation. His teaching interests are in the area of Managerial and Cost Accounting. His research interests have centered on managerial applications of accounting information, economic value, capacity planning and profitability analysis. Prior to joining The University of Houston, he was on the faculty at The Pennsylvania State University. He is the co-author of four accounting textbooks: Accounting Flows and Disclosures, Financial Accounting (tenth edition), Managerial Accounting (ninth edition), and Principles of Accounting. His publications have appeared in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accountancy, Management Accounting, American Bar Association Journal, and Internal Auditor, among others.
