FINA 7360: International Finance

Financial Markets have become increasingly integrated during the last 30 years. This trend is forecasted to continue at a faster pace, making the market place a global market place. This course will analyze the implications of doing business in an international context. The international context introduces two additonal factors of risk: exchange rate risk and country risk. We will study the most popular techniques, tools and instruments used in international financial markets to reduce the impact of exchange risk and country risk. Theory and empirical aspects will be analyzed and discussed.
