Internships

All students who participated in the Summer 2013 Internship Program, please complete the Student Evaluation of Internship form to help the Graduate Real Estate Program develop and improve the overall internship program. Completed forms should be returned to Ronda Dade at rsdade@bauer.uh.edu.

Mentorships

Students have the benefit of mentorship by successful members of the real estate profession. Mentorships are offered through the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Mentorship Program.

Real estate academic professionals provide guidance on degree programs and curriculum. Real estate professionals assist students in career planning and placement. The Graduate Real Estate Program office is professionally staffed to provide students with both academic and career counseling. Develop your real estate certificate degree plan with the guidance of xperienced staff. Guidance on internships and professional career planning and contacts is available from Executive Advisory Board leadership and the Director of the Graduate Real Estate Program, an experienced real estate developer. Make an appointment and develop your academic and career plans.

Real Estate Club

The Bauer Graduate Real Estate Club is an active student organization offering social and professional development opportunities. Bauer Graduate Real Estate Club activities provide students with great opportunities for project on site seminars in the field, panel discussions by real estate professionals, as well as participation in social events and leadership development. The Club also provides students with a strong platform to explore the real estate industry with a focus on educational and career opportunities.

Real Estate Professional Organizations

Students have the opportunity to become active members of the real estate community through membership in any of 15 professional real estate organizations that Partner with the Real Estate Program. >Partner professional real estate organizations include all professions in all industry sectors including residential, commercial, industrial real estate. Students may become members of these organizations and take advantage of their programs, events, publications and educational courses.
