SAS ON YOUR PC: HOW TO OBTAIN A STUDENT LICENSE

Jerry D. Raschke [Jerry@UH.EDU] sent me the following instructions on October 21, 1998:

  1. Complete a Student Use Agreement Form. Click on
    StAgr.doc
to get this form in Word 6.0/95 format. Sign this form and give it to me. I will sign it and forward it to Jerry Raschke.
  2. Complete a Student Request Form. Click on
    StReq.doc
to get this form in Word 6.0/95 format.
  3. E-mail the completed Student Request Form (as attachment) to Jerry D. Raschke at
    Jerry@UH.EDU

The SAS student license is free. However, if you want to have your own SAS CD, you need to request one to Jerry D. Raschke [Jerry@UH.EDU] and pay $35. You need the SAS CD to install SAS on your hard disk but it is not necessary to buy it. As I understand it, several students can legally share one CD, or they can request to use the instructor's.
