Exams:
  • Exams: three exams will be given, two midterms and a final. The exam dates will at least two weeks in advance. Check
    http://www.cba.uh.edu/~peixoto
    regularly.
Make-Up Exams: Normally, a grade of 0 (zero) will be given for a missed exam. Other remedies may be given, but only under documented and compelling circumstances, and only when the instructor has been informed of such circumstances prior to the scheduled date of the exam. The student should submit a written request for a make-up exam and attach supporting documentation. A make-up exam is more difficult than the corresponding regular exam.
Late Homework: Homework assignments are due on the day announced by the instructor. Late assignments will be severely penalized.
Drop Policy: The important dates are:

Date 1: Tuesday, February 16;
Date 2: Friday, April 2.

Anyone may drop for any reason up until Date 2. A student that drops before Date 1 will not receive a grade. A student that drops between Date 1 and Date 2 will receive a grade of W/P. Anyone remaining in this course after Date 2 will receive a grade of A, A, B, B, B, C, C, C, D, D, D, or F.

NO DROPS WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER DATE 2!
