This program is for file transfer (uses the file transfer protcol aka FTP). As a developed you will have need to copy files from your desktop to the web server.You also often will need to download files from the server to your desktop. Filezilla makes it easy to upload and download one or more files of any type. You have to be able to move files from computer (yours) to computer (the servers)

I have used this for years and it is excellent and worth twenty five bucks. It will do the work. I now use ver 8.4. It now costs  $ 25 

Dangerous and Powerful. Really Powerful and Really Dangerous. It will Find and/or Replace any string in any file. It has all the filetypes and directory masks. No un**** command. Be very careful.

This is an excellent graphics tool for creating and modifying images. It is the best alternative to the expensive and original image processor: Photoshop. Gimp will do most all common tasks that Photoshop will do.

I use it mostly to easily create transparent background and blur effects. You can crop, rotate, reformat, shrink, expand, blend, and edit any image of any size.

Gimp is a very mature tool and useful tool.
