Karen Pitts, Regional Director of The Committee of 200 (C200) contacted us early this year to host the C200 Fall MBA Outreach Conference. C200 is an organization of nationally known women executives. Not familiar with the group, but intrigued by the offer, Jaime Smith, Bauer College Development Manager, went to their spring conference at Santa Clara University.
She came back excited. She noted, “You seldom get the caliber of women involved in C200 in a conference setting.”
They inspire; they provide mentoring; they award a $25,000 scholarship to one woman MBA student at the host university. We felt honored to host their fall conference.
In November, twenty-two members of The Committee of 200 came to Bauer College to speak to MBA women, alumni, and entrepreneurs on “Women at the Top.”
Please read on to see why Business Week called C200 “the most high-powered organization you’ve never heard of.”
Sincerely,
