Internships & Careers
Bauer students have a strategic advantage of going to a university in the heart of the Texas economy. The Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship has many close partnerships with firms from the Houston area. Bauer marketing students are among the most highly recruited students in Houston.
The recruiting process begins early in the student's journey. Any student intending to get an internship should work with their career counselor in the Rockwell Career Center to ensure their resume is polished before a recruitment event.
Rockwell Career Center
Marketing students have access to career specialists in Bauer College's Rockwell Career Center (RCC) who work exclusively with marketing graduate students. The RCC also offers a variety of professional development services and tools to our students including:
- Resume/Interviewing Workshops
- Coaching Services (Salary Negotiation, Personal Branding, Suit Up, etc.)
- Career Fairs
American Marketing Association
