Min-Kyu Joo

PhD Student, Research Assistant and Teaching Instructor

Min-Kyu Joo received his B.S. in Business Administration and Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University (South Korea), and holds an M.A. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student of Management at the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. His doctoral studies are focused on organization behavior and human resources management, and he currently serves as a research assistant/teaching instructor.

Prior to his full-time graduate studies, Min-Kyu Joo worked as a research associate for the Korea Labor Institute and as a HR research fellow at Kim & Chang LLP (K&C) in South Korea. He has industry certifications such as registered fund manager, investment counselor, future trading counselor, and financial planner.
