How to apply
A complete application to the Houston MBA program should include:
- Online application using the Apply Texas Application
- Two official, sealed transcripts from all higher education institutions attended
- Official GMAT scores, less than 5 years old sent to our ETS school code
- Part time program: XT1-26-94 (Evening)
- Full time program: XT1-26-83 (Day)
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from academics, employers or professionals. These should be on official letterhead and placed in a sealed envelope with the writer's signature across the back flap for confidentiality.
- Resume
- Goal statement. It should be a 1-2 page discussion of the reasons you are pursuing an MBA and how this degree fits into your career aspirations, as well as why you chose the University of Houston. Please include any additional information you think the Admissions Committee might find useful.
- $75.00 Bauer College application fee (may submit check or money order, made payable to the University of Houston or may be paid online via credit card using the Texas Common Application.)

- An additional $75 international fee (by check payable to the University of Houston)
- Official TOEFL score (Required scores are as follows: 100 on the internet-based test, 250 on the computer-based test, or 603 on the paper-based test.) Scores over 2 years old will not be accepted.
- I-20 Transfer Form (Only if applicant has an I-20 from another institution)
- International Address Form
- Letter of Financial Backing
- Two (2) Passport photos
- Copy of Passport

Note: International students must have a four-year degree from an accredited university to apply for the MBA. Three-year degrees are not considered equivalent. There is no bridge program at UH. Students with a three-year degree will likely need to combine it with a completed master's degree from their home country before applying.
