New for Fall 2010: The Global Energy Executive MBA! (please see more information below)
EXECUTIVE MBA PROGRAM
The Executive MBA Program has been preparing executives for career success for over 30 years. As founding member of the national council of MBA programs, it has a proven track record, bolstered by world-renowned faculty and business leaders who teach real-world applications. A team-based approach that promotes peer-to-peer learning enriches the experience for students and the businesses they serve. It is the oldest of the AACSB accredited programs in Houston. Additionally, an International Business Residency, during which students are exposed to international cultures and companies, prepares students to lead in a global marketplace.
In addition to the Leadership Executive MBA, the Bauer College through its Global Energy Management Institute (GEMI) will offer the Global Energy Executive MBA program beginning in the fall of 2010. Combining the expertise of leading academics from GEMI and industry professionals, the program will prepare participants to tackle the challenges that the energy industry will confront in the coming decade. The curriculum is in development; topics may cover risk management in energy, energy mergers and acquisitions, energy project management, economics of the energy value chain and a capstone course integrating energy demand, public policy and technologies, among others. To learn more, please sign up for an Executive MBA information session.
