Bauer Full Time MBA Scholarships

The Bauer College of Business offers a limited number of merit-based scholarships to well qualified Full Time Day MBA applicants.  Decisions are made upon admission—so early application to the Bauer MBA program is strongly encouraged, apply here.

The Bauer MBA Future Leader Scholarship:

Available to US citizens, US residents or International applicants.  Must have applied to the Bauer MBA Full-time Day program and plan to attend the program during the academic year they are admitted. Must demonstrate above average academic achievement (competitive GMAT or GRE scores and GPA), as well as leadership potential based on professional and academic accomplishments.

  • Qualifies for in In-State Tuition for Non-Texas Residents
  • Award amount ranges from $5,000-$10,000
  • All books are provided each semester
  • Two-year subscription to the Wall Street Journal
  • Some scholarship packages include the following:
    • Laptop computer
    • Enrollment in the Bauer MBA Future Leaders Mentoring Program (for more information on the Future Leaders Mentoring Program, please contact Tommy Doss, Director of Bauer Leadership Initiatives, at tdoss@bauer.uh.edu)

The Bauer MBA Energy Scholarship:

Available to US citizens, US residents or International applicants. Must have applied to the Bauer MBA Full-time Day program and plan to attend the program during the academic year they are admitted. Must demonstrate above average academic achievement (competitive GMAT or GRE scores and GPA), as well as leadership potential based on professional and academic accomplishments, and an expressed desire for a career in the energy industry. Currently there is 1 scholarship available for fall 2012.

  • Qualifies for in State Tuition for Non-Texas Residents
  • $10,000 ($2500 per semester)
  • Laptop computer is provided

Applicants will be considered for the above scholarships when the committee receives a completed application, so we strongly encourage you to submit your admission application as early as possible.
