In Houston and across the globe, Bauer is preparing executives in the oil and gas industry to lead. We have leveraged Bauer’s talented faculty and our location in the energy capital to give our graduate students an intense educational experience that will prepare them to meet the challenges of the energy industry head on.
Students have two options to pursue an MBA with an Energy Focus. Both provide students with the fundamentals through the completion of core courses, plus elective courses which can be focused on energy:
Students enrolled in either the Full time Day or Part time Evening MBA Program also complete six elective courses. Bauer offers over 20 energy-related electives from which to choose, and many students combine them to satisfy the requirements for up to two Energy Certificates. The Part time Evening MBA program offered at the Northwest Campus will also feature energy electives.
More seasoned professionals may wish to apply to The Global Energy MBA Program (GEMBA). This executive MBA program requires a minimum of 7 years professional business experience, and includes an International Business Residency. The energy track includes specific elective courses that are geared for the energy industry.
