Professor Lobo’s research focuses on corporate disclosure strategies, earnings management, and the role of accounting information in financial decisions and firm valuation. He has published more than thirty research papers in many leading journals, including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, & Finance, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Journal of Business Research, Decision Sciences, and International Journal of Forecasting. He has presented papers at several national and international conferences and has been an invited speaker at many universities. He has been editor-in-chief of International Review of Accounting, has served on the editorial boards of Accounting Horizons and Journal of Accounting & Business Research, and is currently on the editorial board of Review of Accounting and Finance.
