Bauer College Remote Access Policy
Remote access to Bauer college computer resources is available based on the following criteria:
- Available to Bauer Faculty and Full-time Staff. (No contractors, student workers, or part-time employees)
- Staff access is based on approval from departmental Supervisor. At this time, this service will be available to Exempt staff only unless special approval is given by the Dean’s Office for non-exempt staff.
- Microsoft Remote Desktop is the only allowed and supported package
- Strong passwords must be used
- No sensitive data will be stored offsite (home computers)
- No home technical support is implied.
Remote Access Approval Form has to be filled out by staff to receive remote access.
