John Deane is senior vice president of AIM Management Group, Inc. and chief technology officer of its parent AMVESCAP PLC, a global asset management firm consisting of the AIM and INVESCO brands, with approximately $372 billion in assets under management (as of June 30, 2004).

Mr. Deane has 20 years of information systems management experience. He joined AIM in 1997 from J.P. Morgan. Prior to J.P. Morgan, John Deane held positions at Morgan Stanley Group and Salomon Brothers. Additionally, he held a partner position with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he consulted with brokers/dealers, banks and other firms in the financial services industry.

John Deane is a native of Troy, NY. Mr. Deane graduated with a B.S. in accounting and an M.B.A., both from SUNY-Albany. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.
