Altan Temel is a doctoral student in Accounting at C.T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston.
Prior to beginning his doctoral studies, Altan received a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey and an MBA from Koc University, Turkey.
Altan is interested in modeling of real cases in the accounting field. He currently studies the impact of mandatory disclosures on the information asymmetry between individual and institutional Investors and their capital investment decisions.
