Alexander Tawse


Alex Tawse is a doctoral student in Management at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. His research interests include Strategy Implementation, Dynamic Managerial Capability, Performance Measurement Systems, and Leadership Attribution. Alex is currently in his third year.

Alex graduated with Bachelors degrees in Economics and International Relations from Stanford University and received his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining the PhD program at Bauer, Alex was CEO of start-up holding company focused on the acquisition of small oil and gas service companies, served as the CFO for a global consulting firm specializing in Lean Manufacturing, and worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he received his CPA qualification.
