Internal Audit Program
The mission of the Internal Auditing Program is to provide students with the most up to date theory and practice in the field of Internal Auditing. The Accountancy & Taxation Department at the C. T. Bauer College of Business is one of only 19 programs in the world to hold a Partner level membership in the Internal Auditing Education Partnership created by the Institute of Internal Auditors. The IAP offers courses in Internal Audit that can culminate in Certificates at the Undergraduate and Graduate level. These courses are taught by current practitioners in the Internal Audit field, who bring a wealth of real world experience to the classroom.
Networking
Students in the Internal Auditing Program are provided increased opportunities to interact and earn internships with firms that employ Internal Auditors. Through corporate events held on campus, Colloquium courses, and mixers, students are able to network with the top employers in the Accounting industry. The Internal Auditing Student Association gives students who are interested in careers in Internal Auditing the opportunity to network with other students with the same goals to build networks and to further their mutual interest in the field of internal auditing.
