The Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston participates during these intersession weeks by conducting classes about and mentoring high school students in the area of entrepreneurship. Over the course of four days, these students hear directly from our students and our Program Director about topics such as personal success, business planning and idea implementation. Students from the WCE are solely responsible for developing the instructional program and its delivery. In addition, at the conclusion of this four day intensive, students from the KIPP Academy create and present business plans about their chosen business idea. This has served as an excellent community outreach and mentoring program for our students as well as the students within the KIPP Academy.
