Desktop news: B.O.S.S - Submitting Problems or Projects?

When completing a new help desk request through B.O.S.S http://www.bauer.uh.edu/helpdesk we must decide if our request is either a Problem or Project. Keep in mind that projects need approvals from the RICS Director and Project Manager which involves time to resolve if request(s) is approved vs. a problem. A problem is a technical issue that RICS Techs may resolve in a couple of minutes depending the size and description of problem. This is why it is very important to submit the proper type of request to B.O.S.S. so your requests may be handled properly. If you do not know what to choose as your type of request you may contact RICS Help Desk at 713-743-4871 for assistance.
