- What is the Bauer Champions Campaign?
The C.T. Bauer College of Business, in partnership with the Bauer College Alumni Association, launched a fund raising campaign, the Bauer Champions Campaign, focusing on raising scholarship dollars for Bauer students. Modeled after the highly successful MS 150, the campaign allows individuals to form teams to collectively raise money for student scholarships through the support of friends and family.
- Where does the money raised go?
Contributions to the Bauer Champions create scholarships for Bauer students. Most Bauer students work their way through school and often are the first in their family to attend college, scholarship money can be the deciding factor that can make or break a student's ability to earn a degree, which in turn defines their future.
- How to I get involved?
You can participate by forming a team of co-workers, friends and former classmates and setting a fundraising goal. To form a team, please visit us online at www.baueralumni.com and clicking on the Bauer Champions button.
- Do I have to be a University of Houston or Bauer College Alum to form a team?
NO! Anyone can participate in the Bauer Champions campaign.
- Is there a limit to the number of people who can be on a team?
NO! In fact, the team with the most members at the end of the campaign is awarded a prize.
- How can individuals make contributions to my team?

Make a gift or pledge using your credit card through a safe and secure online form at https://giving.uh.edu/BauerChSh/. To designate your scholarship gift toward a particular fundraising Team, please click on the drop-down menu below the Amount field. - If a donor sends a check directly to me, what should I do?
Please make sure that checks are payable to the University of Houston Bauer College of Business. You can mail all contributions to the address above.
- When does the campaign begin and end? When will you announce the winners of the campaign?
The campaign starts March 1, 2010 and ends on July 31, 2010.The team with the highest funds raised and the team with the most team members will be announced and recognized at the Alumni Annual Meeting on August 19, 2010.
- Is there a mandatory amount teams must raise to participate?
No. But we do ask that teams set realistic attainable goals for themselves.
- How are matching funds awarded?
Funds designated to the Matching Fund will be used to match the funds raised by individual teams on a pro rata basis.
- Are donations made to teams tax-deductible?
Yes. All donations are tax deductible.
