  1. AICPA: Visit the AICPA to find out about scholarships available to accounting, finance and information systems majors (undergraduate and graduate). Application deadlines vary according to the individual scholarship. Deadline: see website.
  2. Brentwood Community Foundation Scholarship: The Brentwood Community Foundation scholarship and grant application package is now available. Eligible applicants include 2009 high school graduates, undergraduate students, and graduate students who live in the greater Houston area. The application package is available at the Brentwood Community Foundation office, on the Brentwood Community Foundation website, and at the office of Brentwood Baptist Church. Students may apply for only one scholarship or grant. Submitting more than one application may lead to disqualification. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  3. The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship: The purpose of The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for new Americans is to provide opportunities for continuing education of able and accomplished students to reach their goals in their education. Deadline: See website.
  4. UH Scholars Program Scholarship: The University Scholars Program provides talented UH Juniors and Seniors with the opportunity to participate in a research project under the direction of a UH faculty mentor. Deadline: Nov 1 for Spring and March 1 for Fall.
  5. Gates Millenium Scholarship: The Gates Millenium Scholarship is funded by a grant from The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It was established as an opportunity for students to complete their undergraduate education.
  6. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Fellowships: The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is a private, independent foundation established by Jack Kent Cooke to help young people of exceptional promise reach their full potential through education. Deadline: Varies according to each scholarship.
  7. Northwestern Mutual Financial Network Diversity Scholarship: The scholarship award is for the amount of $5,000. Deadline: April 2.
  8. Delphian Scholarship: The Delphian Foundation offers two scholarships namely the UH Foundation scholarship which is applicabele for women only and U.S. citizens, Click here to have look at the Criteria for Delphian Foundation Scholarship and Delphian Endowment Scholarship is applicable for women and men and U.S. Citizen/Legal Resident, Click here to have look at the Criteria for Endowment Scholarship.   10. WOMAN’S BUSINESS SUPPORT NETWORK - WBSN 2009 Foundation Scholarships. Need based scholarships are available - $500, $1000, $2000. Download your application at: www.wbsnonline.org. Application must be postmarked by May 19th. Must be a female in financial need with at least 5 years work experience to be eligible for the scholarship.
