Bauer Undergraduate Program
Welcome to the Bauer College Undergraduate Business Program website. The Bauer College Undergraduate Business Program is a daytime program providing quality business education for over 5,000 undergraduate business majors and minors on a full-time and part-time basis. The Bauer College has 121 full-time faculty with diverse backgrounds and major publications, and over 60 teaching assistants and adjunct faculty from the corporate community who teach and conduct research. Strategically placed in the fourth largest city in the United States, the Bauer College of Business offers in-class instruction that is industry-based, with unique internship and career opportunities.
As is the city of Houston and the University of Houston as a whole, the Bauer College of Business student population is demographically diverse. Because of its high quality education, business environment, and scholarships, Bauer College attracts high caliber students including National Merit scholars who are also members of the University of Houston Honors College. The University of Houston attracts students from 114 different countries; over 400 of these international students are business majors.

- the skills to identify legal and ethical issues in business as well as a framework for resolving them,
- disciplinary competence,
- the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment utilizing proper structure, language, and grammar, and
- the aptitude to think critically and apply problem-solving models to a given business situation.
