Expand your knowledge

MS ACCY graduates complete the program with the credentials necessary to become leaders and accounting professionals. Students learn to recognize dysfunctional accounting situations and the skills required to solve those problems. They gain first-hand knowledge on how to engage in accounting research and communicate their findings in a clear and concise manner. Students also leave the program with the capacity to recognize and respond appropriately to ethical and regulatory dilemmas.

We’re an AACSB accredited program

The MS ACCY program is one of only 168 accounting programs (out of 1,600) that is fully accredited by the top accreditation organization among major universities, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Students who complete the program earn a Master of Science in Accountancy degree and meet the requirements to sit for the Texas Uniform CPA exam.
