Bio
Randolph Cooper is a Professor in the Decision and Information Sciences department in the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. He joined the University of Houston faculty in 1990 after teaching at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received his bachelors in economics, masters in business administration, and doctorate in management information systems from the University of California at Los Angeles. He has been employed as a programmer and systems analyst at Motel 6, Incorporated, and Computer Sciences Corporation. He has published in a variety of academic journals, including DataBase, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information and Management, Journal of Management Information Systems, Management Science, MIS Quarterly, and Omega. He is currently teaching courses on Java Programming, Information Security, and the Critical Analysis of Research
