Bio
Carmen Spencer graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing, also earning a sales certificate from the Program for Excellence in Selling in 2009. Her work ethic and commitment to the program is obvious through her assistance to the students and corporate partners. Carmen joined the Sales Excellence Institute during her time as a sales student working with corporate partners and events. She was able to easily transition into a permanent role in 2009. Since then, she has enriched the services provided to our corporate partners, increased awareness of our organization and enhanced and expanded the Institute's events. She serves as the editor-in-chief of our top publication Sellebrations and manages the organization's conferences and seminars as they expand to international bounds. Carmen's main responsibilities include coordination and execution of all events relating to the Sales Excellence Institute, upholding a consistent line of communication with all constituents – corporate partners, alumni and community partners – and acting as a liaison between the students and the business community. She also coordinates all communications and public relations aspects of the Sales Excellence Institute.
