About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an
Associate for our ERP solutions teams with either a focus on
Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Microsoft Dynamics NV (Navision) for
our Houston
office. This is an entry-level position providing training on an ERP software
application (GP or NV) and mentoring under the direction of a Senior Consultant
on the team. This person will apply his/her business skill, general accounting
knowledge and learned Dynamics application knowledge, regarding system functionality,
to meet the business requirements of the client.
Their knowledge of cost accounting, asset
accounting, and financial statement preparation and interpretation will be
utilized and further developed during implementation of enterprise resource
planning and financial management systems.
Projects include automation and integration of financial and operational
business processes to deliver cost savings, risk mitigation, and improved
service levels throughout organizations in a variety of industries. The opportunity provides a unique blend of
financial and business process knowledge with technology aptitude.
Responsibilities include:

Account
reconciliations
·
Validation of financial
transaction flow (unit & integration testing)
·
Business procedures
& training documentation
·
Data analysis and
conversion
·
Security set-up and
maintenance
·
Providing on-line
support to clients under the direct supervision of Senior Staff
·
Various administrative
duties, as assigned
This position will average about 40 hours or more per week with a travel
requirement up to 25%.
Ideal qualifications:
- Progress toward completion of
PPA, PPA with MIS minor, double major – PPA/MIS, or MS in Accountancy in
the Risk Management track.
- Strong interest in a full-time opportunity with our
organization
- Proficient with accounting functions, including AP,
AR, GL and more
- Knowledge of MS Outlook and proficient with Microsoft
Excel
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication
skills
