Message from our director

The Bauer Professional Program in Accounting (PPA) lays the groundwork for a successful career in the Accounting field. The Program itself however exists because of three elements:

• Outstanding faculty dedicated to providing quality education to students;
• Corporate partnership with renowned companies of all sizes in the Accounting profession that have an equal stake in the progress of our students; and
• Enthusiastic student body that continues to excel inside and outside the classroom.

Academically, the PPA prepares students for the CPA Exam. Our department boasts a consistent ranking among the top two schools in the state with students who pass the exam on their first attempt. Concurrently, the PPA Colloquium offered every fall brings the students in contact with accounting professionals who update them on various current issues affecting the profession. On the practical front, our students engage in various internships with the very same companies which supplement their learning in the classroom.

As part of the Bauer PPA, you will not only be broadening your knowledge, but also broadening your horizon.
