Opportunities and career paths for accounting professionals are widening dramatically.  Accounting is predicted to continue to as one of the fastest growing segments or the United States economy throughout the next several years.  Leading companies and other organizations recognize that accounting is an important strategic element of success and that accounting professionals are uniquely positioned for leadership roles. 

The Bauer Professional Program in Accounting (PPA) prepares students for these opportunities by teaching fluency in accounting—the language of business. This fluency is paying off in the world of global commerce like never before.  The high employment rate of recent PPA graduates is unprecedented.

Our Faculty is dedicated to preparing PPA students for success by emphasizing the importance of ethical behavior, developing technical accounting proficiency, honing communication, teamwork, and decision making skills, and providing opportunities to gain practical experience through paid internships. Collectively, the faculty, students, and administrators are committed to enhancing the Bauer PPA reputation for excellence.
