AIM Center for Investment Management

At the AIM Center for Investment Management, students combine a world-class education with real-world experience. The $5 million learning laboratory is the lens through which students gain insight into investment management, accounting, information technology and marketing and the interaction of those disciplines in a business setting

The AIM Center is located on the first floor of Melcher Hall, home of the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston and consists of:

* A 16 station trading laboratory

* An executive conference room with video conferencing capabilities

* A 36-seat classroom.

* Lobby gethering space with news video and ticker

Through the AIM Center for Investment Management, undergraduate and graduate business students receive practical education in corporate finance, accounting, information technology, marketing and other disciplines. Current course offerings include:

• Sales Force Automation
• Database Marketing
• Business Forecasting
• Gas and Power Markets
  

The center is home to the Graduate Certificate in Financial Services Management and the Cougar Fund, LLC through which students research, invest, audit and manage private investor funds.
